Meet "Uno " Uno — is an exceptional Biewer Terrier male who will be joining the Petit Bijou breeding program as a carefully selected outside stud. While Uno is not owned by Petit Bijou, we are honored to have the opportunity to incorporate his outstanding qualities into our future breeding plans. At Petit Bijou, selecting a stud dog is about much more than pedigree or titles. We carefully evaluate overall breed type, structure, movement, temperament, coat quality, health, and how each sire complements our females. After extensive consideration, Uno stood out as an excellent match for our breeding program. Now seven years of age, Uno has matured into a handsome, balanced male whose quality has stood the test of time. While toy breeds naturally change as they mature and age, we believe it is important to evaluate each breeding dog based on their current condition rather than relying solely on accomplishments from years past.
Uno has completed Embark DNA Health Testing and, in keeping with the Petit Bijou breeding program standards, he will also undergo current CAER eye examinations and patella evaluations prior to being bred. We believe that health testing should reflect a dog's present condition and remain an important part of responsible breeding decisions.
Uno has been selected as the planned sire for our litters out of CH Bibi Fiery "Foxxy"and Royal Bohemian Rhapsody of Moravia" Moravia". We believe these pairings offer tremendous potential to produce healthy, beautiful puppies with excellent breed type, sound structure, and wonderful temperaments.
As a preservation breeder, we value the thoughtful use of outside stud dogs. Incorporating carefully selected males allows us to strengthen our breeding program, maintain valuable genetic diversity, and continue working toward our goal of producing Biewer Terriers that exemplify the breed standard in both form and temperament.
